Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

  • Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
  • Take some time to relax and recover from your journey.
  • Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02 : Explore Delhi

Start your exploration of the capital city with a full-day tour of Old and New Delhi:

  • Raj Ghat: Pay homage at the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, marking the site of his cremation.
  • Red Fort: Explore the magnificent 17th-century fort, a symbol of Mughal grandeur built by Emperor Shah Jahan.
  • Jama Masjid: Visit India's largest mosque, built by Shah Jahan, and marvel at its architectural splendor.
  • Chandni Chowk: Take a cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling alleys of this famous market and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere.
  • Humayun’s Tomb: Admire this UNESCO World Heritage site, an architectural precursor to the Taj Mahal.
  • Qutub Minar: Visit this soaring 234-foot tower, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture.
  • Lotus Temple: Experience the peaceful ambiance of this iconic Bahai House of Worship, designed in the shape of a lotus.
  • India Gate & President’s House: Stroll around India Gate, a war memorial, and view the grandiose Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House). Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 : Delhi to Jaipur (265 km / 5-6 hours)

  • After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, known as the "Pink City." Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel.
  • In the evening, explore the local markets or opt for an excursion to Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort offering camel rides, traditional Rajasthani cuisine, and live cultural performances.
  • Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 04 : Jaipur Sightseeing

Start the day with a visit to Jaipur’s iconic landmarks:

  • Amber Fort & Palace: Marvel at the blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture. You may also enjoy an optional elephant ride to the fort.
  • City Palace: Explore the grand residence of Jaipur's Maharajas.
  • Jantar Mantar: Visit the 18th-century astronomical observatory.
  • Hawa Mahal: Admire the intricate latticework of this "Palace of the Winds."
  • Jal Mahal: See this beautiful palace set amidst Mansarovar Lake.

Spend the evening at leisure or shopping in Jaipur’s vibrant markets. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur – Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (235 km / 5-6 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Agra, stopping en route to visit:

  • Abhaneri Chand Baori (stepwell) in the Abhaneri village. It was built by King Chanda of the Nikumbha Dynasty in 9th century AD. One of the largest stepwells in the world, Chand Baori was built to conserve water and provide a respite from the intense heat.
  • Fatehpur Sikri: Explore this well-preserved Mughal city, built by Akbar, featuring the grand Buland Darwaza and the tomb of Sufi saint Salim Chishti.

Continue to Agra and check-in at your hotel. Overnight in Agra.

Day 06 : Agra City Tour

Today, explore the iconic monuments of Agra:

  • Taj Mahal: Witness the beauty of this world-renowned monument of love, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
  • Agra Fort: Visit this UNESCO World Heritage site, an imposing Mughal fortress.
  • Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb: Discover this beautiful tomb, known as the "Baby Taj."

The rest of the day is free for shopping. Overnight in Agra.

Day 07 : Agra – Mathura – Vrindavan – Haridwar (380 km / 8-9 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Haridwar with stops in:

  • Mathura: Visit Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
  • Vrindavan: Explore the stunning Prem Mandir, a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna.

Arrive in Haridwar and check into your hotel. In the evening, participate in the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, a mesmerizing ritual on the banks of the Ganges. Overnight in Haridwar.

Day 08 : Haridwar – Rishikesh (20 km / 30 min)

After breakfast, visit:

  • Mansa Devi Temple: Reach the hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi via cable car or on foot.
  • Proceed to Rishikesh, known as the "Gateway to the Himalayas." Upon arrival, visit:
  • Lakshman Jhula & Ram Jhula: Walk across these iconic suspension bridges.
  • Triveni Ghat: Witness the confluence of three sacred rivers.

In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 10 : Shimla Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore Shimla:

  • The Ridge: Enjoy panoramic views of the city and visit Christ Church and Tudor Library.
  • Jakhu Temple: Visit this ancient temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. You can take a ropeway ride to reach the temple.

Return to the hotel. Overnight in Shimla.

Day 12 : Amritsar Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit:

  • Golden Temple: The holiest shrine of Sikhism.
  • Jallianwala Bagh: Reflect on the history of this tragic site.

In the afternoon, attend the Wagah Border Ceremony (subject to availability). Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Amritsar.
