Day 01: Arrival at Colombo – Pinnawala – Dambulla

  • Morning arrival pick up from Colombo airport and transfer to Dambulla.
  • On the way visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage This is the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, the world's first and only elephant orphanage established to feed, nurse and house young elephants lost or abandoned by their mothers.
  • Further drive to Dambulla. Overnight at Dambulla.

Day 02 | Dambulla - Excursion to Anuradhapura

  • After the breakfast excursion to Anuradhapura is one of the ancient capitals of Sri Lanka, famous for its well-preserved ruins of ancient Sri Lankan civilization. The city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
  • Dambulla cave temple, Dambulla is a world heritage site and is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples.
  • Further back to hotel. Overnight at Dambulla.

Day 03 | Dambulla - Sigiriya - Minneriya

  • After breakfast visit Sigiriya rock fortress - Sigiriya is an ancient palace. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high.
  • Afternoon visit Minneriya National Park. You will visit this park by Jeep in afternoon. The Best Place to see Elephants in Sri Lanka, The Minneriya National Park is famed for its “Elephant Gathering”, a spectacular phenomenon during the long dry seasons, when hundreds of elephants, both the adults and young along with a few tuskers, can be seen feeding on the grasslands adjacent to the tank, while others cool off in the water.
  • Overnight at Dambulla.

Day 04 | Dambulla – Kandy

  • After breakfast proceed to Kandy. “Kandy” is a major city in Sri Lanka. On the way you will visit Spice Garden at Matale - you will see many spice gardens at Matale where Cinnamon, Cardamom, Pepper Creepers and all other spice trees, plants and creepers are planted for visitors to see them.
  • On arrival check in at hotel. In the evening one can enjoy Cultural Dance Show is a stimulating Sri Lankan Arts, Dance and Cultural Heritage Show that is a must see for any visitor who visits the historic city of Kandy. Overnight at Kandy.

Day 05 | Kandy

  • After breakfast visit Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya is the oldest formal gardens in Sri Lanka. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees and is renowned for its collection of orchids and the long, palm framed pathways.
  • Temple of the Tooth– Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Overnight at Kandy.

Day 06 | Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

  • After the breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya by train.
  • Further visit Ramboda Falls is 109 m high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 07 | Nuwara Eliya

  • Today an early morning around 0200am be at below of Adam’s peak and climb. Witness the sunrise at Adam’s peak. Approx. 2 hrs. and 30min drive to Adam’s peak from Nuwara eliya.
  • Adam's Peak is a 2,243 m tall conical sacred mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada, a 1.8 m rock formation near the summit whose name is also used for the mountain itself.
  • Proceed to hotel in Nuwara eliya and relax at hotel.
  • Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.

Day 08 | Nuwara Eliya – Bentota

  • After breakfast proceed to Bentota. Bentota - Facing the Indian Ocean, a tropical lagoon and major river Bentota offers water sports possibilities nowhere else to be found.
  • Overnight at Bentota.
